De Keen Etten-Leur – CO2 Neutral Housing

Residential district ‘De Keen” is a show case for future development of new residential districts. For this purpose, several zero- carbon residential projects are built. These houses produce the same amount of energy as the basic energy consumption of the houses. They houses have an integrated energy roof, which can performs independently of the building orientation. The use of solar energy in the design process leads to an architecturally responsible solution that gives the flat roof an additional dimension.
