The MOMA Eco-Community site in the New Century District enjoys a superb strategic location – as a new urban extension and centre for sustainable growth in the region. This project is not just a housing development project, It is an endeavour to showcase exemplary sustainability, exceptional urban design, architecture and landscape design to help inspire the transformation of Changsha.

Design team is introducing a synergy between the urban design approach that’s developed in the Netherlands with an emphasis on balancing water and land infrastruture, with a strong regional awareness (Hunan Province), and international sustainable and ecological principles.
The mission statement for designinng the masterplan of Changsha is:  “To house people in a integrated community with good services and amenities and high design quality while protecting and enhancing environmental quality ensuring long term sustainability.”
